How to Listen to us on your Cell Phone


Now you can listen to Live98 Radio on your iPhone.



The "official" SHOUTcast Radio App for iPhone and iPod Touch is now available for FREE at the iTunes App Store.

To download the app directly from iTunes, click on this link

NOTE: If you would like to play high quality station streams (ie. 128k MP3) on your iPhone or iPod Touch through the SHOUTcast Radio App, then you will need to enable high bandwidth streams by going into your Settings. You will only have to do this once.

To enable high quality streams on the SHOUTcast Radio App:



1. Install the SHOUTcast Radio app from the iTunes store

2. Tap on the "Settings" icon from your home screen

3. Flick down to the "SHOUTcast" settings. Tap on the "SHOUTcast" Menu

4. Tap the switch for "Allow hi-bit streams" to ON

5. Exit out of the Settings screen by tapping on your Home button and return to the SHOUTcast App

6. Search for Live98 Radio and then click on the result listing. Click Play.

Your iPhone will play Live98 Radio over Rogers 3G Network or WiFi.


How to listen to Live98 Radio on your Windows based Smart Phone.



The Kinoma Freeplay app for Smartphones is available HERE FOR FREE

1. Install the app from the link above.

2. Search for Live98 on Shoutcast

3. You will see 2 live streams the first is @ 192k and the other @ 48k

4. If your phone can handle 192k then choose the first one (you will get a better quality stream) but if your phone keeps stopping the stream this means that you need to choose the 48k (Recommended).
